It was August, but it felt like November. Ireland is green, that’s true, it just doesn’t stop raining. Since I arrived in Northern Ireland I wanted to see the Giant’s Causeway. Portrush looked pretty close to this site so we took a train from Belfast. On Sundays you can travel unlimited trips on a 7 pound railway ticket. Portrush was windy, but luckily without rain. There is a beautiful beach called White Rocks Beach on the way to Giant’s Causeway.

What can be better than a cup of hot tea right there, to warm your hands?

Dunluce Castle is right on the edge of the cliffs. There is a hole under the castle where you could hear the ocean roaring. Wow, but the wind was wild, almost sweeping away. Sometimes it was even hard to walk straight :))

After a couple of hours walk from Portrush we reached the Giant’s Causeway. Cappuccino air – the foam formed by wild waves was flying everywhere!

I loved the Causeway. I was waiting for another sunny day to visit it again … But there was no sunny days in Northern Ireland…
