Five years ago if you had asked me to recommend a luxury hotel in Atins the answer would have been easy: La Ferme de Georges. But today, it’s a different story… the ever evolving bucolic village of Atins now offers a whole new range of options – there are plenty of brand new luxury villas that perfectly mirror the changing face of this dreamy beach village in the north-east of Brazil.

On my recent trip to Brazil, I could not believe how much Atins had developed since my last visit in 2018 – and not just by how many new hotels there are now – there are new things to do like kite-surfing, horse-riding and so many new restaurants.

Atins has been home to only a few boutique hotels for a while, but I was overwhelmed by the increasing number of new options. What I especially love is that they all offer a complete different experience, some offering a fully equipped kitchen for longer stays, rooms with a/c and swimming pools. La Ferme de Georges still remains my number one choice for a luxury small hotel in Atins, but Ananda Atins, Muita Paz, and Vila Guara are great options as well. In addition, for those that are looking for a lively atmosphere with music and a pool, Atins Charme Chalets and Vila Aty Lodge are very good options.
